About Us

WimZeeZ is a store brimming with art, home décor, jewelry and gifts.   The store features the work of 70+ talented local artists and artisans.  The store opened May 1, 2009 in Long Lake and is located east of downtown and across from the lake. 

The idea that sparked the store grew out of a gathering of local moms making gift baskets for a local charity.  Due to the recent economic downturn, they saw the need for a new venue for local talent to display and sell their creations.  The idea caught on and by opening day the shelves and displays were full of one-of-kind items, candles, purses, art, gourmet foods and so much more.

In July of 2009 WimZeeZ expanded to include Gallery W.  This art gallery opened to showcase original art in our area.  Different shows are presented about every six weeks featuring metropolitan area artists using a wide variety of media.  During the Christmas/Hanukkah holidays the gallery will expand to include seasonal art and gifts.

Lisa James, the gallery owner says: “Gallery W grew out of a desire to shine the spotlight on local artists in a setting where the art can breathe.  The easily accessible location is great for visitors on a tight schedule, although to browse through the entire location featuring so many artists and artisans takes some time!".
